Integrated Thermal and Energy Management Control for Fuel Cell Vehicles

Thermal management and energy management controls are integrated for electric vehicles powered jointly by fuel cells and lithium-ion batteries. The system coordinates cooling and power-source outputs according to temperature, battery status, and driving power demand. Particle swarm optimization is used to tune control strategies and analyze temperature stability and energy consumption under different driving conditions. Dynamic simulations have been completed, and a cooling test platform has been used to evaluate control strategy feasibility.

Coordinated Thermal Dynamics and Energy Management for Electric Refrigerated Vehicles

Using a single-day urban delivery mission as the operating scenario, thermal models are developed for the cargo compartment, goods, and refrigeration system of an electric refrigerated vehicle. Delivery routes, stop counts, and door-opening duration are included to analyze how precooling, wall heat ingress, and unloading affect compartment temperature and refrigeration load. Combined with driving energy consumption, the model evaluates relationships among refrigeration capacity, battery capacity, temperature control, and total vehicle energy use, providing a basis for system matching and coordinated thermal–electrical control.
