Energy-Aware Eco-Driving Control for Autonomous Vehicles
For fuel cell electric vehicles, energy consumption estimates are incorporated into cruise control and lane-change decisions. The control architecture combines preceding-vehicle states, traffic signal information, and vehicle dynamics to plan smooth speed profiles and lane-change trajectories, reducing unnecessary braking and reacceleration. Simulation and hardware-in-the-loop tests are planned to evaluate energy savings and the feasibility of real-time control.
